Paddle for PAWS is a unique fundraiser benefiting the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center in Longview, Texas. This 1-of-a-kind outing is hosted by Longview PAWS and presented by Peters Chevrolet. Participants will hop in a kayak, canoe, or standup paddleboard (SUP) at the breathtaking 18-acre lake on Rowdy Creek Ranch Winery in Gilmer, Texas. We encourage you to enjoy the day and float away with or without your Pup!!
Registration is required on-line at LongviewPAWS.Regfox.com/PADDLE. Registration is $30 and includes a 2022 Paddle for PAWS Event t-shirt. Participants may bring their own equipment at no additional charge or rent one of ours (limited quantities available so don’t wait). Equipment rentals are not included in the registration cost but can be added during registration for an additional $20 fee. NOTE: there will be NO SAME DAY Registration. Age limit is 13 yrs to participate (parent/guardian must be present). No experience required and regatta options range from a casual flotilla to a timed competition.
All proceeds from this Event will go towards continuing our Heartworm Treatment program benefiting the shelter dogs of LACAC. Heartworms are preventable and treatable and should not be the deterrent in any dog’s adoptability.
This event is the perfect opportunity to get outside, surround yourself with the most gorgeous East Texas scenery and move your body with your friends and family- 2 or 4 legged- all while supporting an amazing cause. We can’t wait to PADDLE together!!
